Whats this about Media?
Currently we are accepting media links from other streaming sites that allow linking to their media. We are accepting:
-Trailers
-Previews
-OP or ED (Can include just the theme even if it isn't the actualy OP/ED
-Insert Songs

These guidelines can change with new options at anytime. Please check back before submitting any clip.

I added my Series/Summary but it hasn't shown up?
Here at DS we are attempting to provide high quality summaries. And because of that we are currently reviewing any submission. If you are a frequent contributor, then you will be adjusted as verified..

In addition to that... when you click on the submit button you should see the line:

Your Series has been added. If the admin is reviewing submissions, then it will appear to the public after they have okayed it. In the meantime, you can always edit the Series in your account area.

IF YOU DO NOT, that means you were missing some of the required fields, and you just need to scroll down on the page provided and enter in the missing information. Everything with a red star is required

Well how can I become validated??
You need to have at least 10 contributions. Once you do, and none of the Archive Admins have had to make any major changes, then I will adjust your account. If I don't right away, feel free to send me a message over at the forum.

There is a series I want to read about, but I don't see it?
You can add one by going into your account info and clicking on "Add New Series"

There is a series that I want to add an episode summary to. How would I go about doing that?
When you go to read the most recently updated summary, at the bottom you will see a link that says "Add Summary"

I see a drama that I know is finished, but it isn't listed as completed!
The Completion isn't an indication of the series itself being completed, but an indication on how completed it is here on DramaSummaries. It will be completed when the series has all the episode summaries posted.

What are you looking for in a summary
My original intention was to have detailed summaries. Basically something simple that describes all the major plot twists and developments, covering the beginning, middle and end of the episode. Now, this doesn't mean it has to be long. Something like this can be done in 500 words or less (don't use any of my own summaries as examples, those definitely got away with me.)



I changed the layout for the archive, but I still see a different layout for the forum!
Currently the forum and archive system run like separate programs. You have the option of changing the layout for both of them differently. All you have to do is change your profile setting on the forum to change the layout for the forum. But feel free to use more than one layout if you want! Eventually I will have matching forum layouts to all of the Archive layouts.

What about ads?
I'm not a big fan of ads at all, so this site will never have them. Currently I pay 4$ a month in server fee's, which is basically a cheap cheap lunch so it doesn't bother me at all. I make enough that I can support the site. I don't see the site costing hundreds of dollars maintaining, and it will be a sad sad day if I can't afford 4$.
